Thursday, Biology professor Paul Whitaker shared one dish he'll be sharing on Saturday: A Hummus Spread with Mealworms as a Garnish.
Sort mealworms from the bran in which they are reared. Rinse in a colander, drain, and pick out any that don't look well. Spread them in a tall sided baking dish, drizzle with a bit of olive oil and salt, then roast at 300 F for about 30 minutes. Turn off oven, but leave the pan in the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Then remove and let cool. Puree the rest of the ingredients in a blender or food processor, scraping down the sides as needed, until everything is really smooth. Gradually add the remaining garbanzos, pureeing and scraping as needed to make a nice smooth paste. You may need to add up to 1/3 cup more liquid (some combination of water, lemon juice, olive oil use your own tastes to tell) to get the desired consistency. Stir in salt and pepper to taste.

Also included will be more traditional foods such as deep fried turkey, Spanish tapas and pumpkin roll. And back by popular demand is the chocoholic hall.
